ismybrandinai.com) — a project that analyzes how brands and organizations appear in AI search — have agreed on a voluntary collaboration. Under the agreement, the project will carry out the work to strengthen Alanya's AI visibility free of charge, as a contribution to the city.
The work is based on "generative engine optimization" (GEO): organizing content and sources so that, when AI assistants are asked about Alanya, their answers are accurate, current and comprehensive. As part of the collaboration, what the assistants say about Alanya is reviewed, gaps and outdated details are identified, and the city's strengths are brought out more clearly — an effort that continues as the AI systems evolve.
For Alanya, one of the capitals of tourism, this matters a great deal. Travelers worldwide increasingly decide where to go by consulting AI, and a destination that isn't represented accurately and attractively in those answers is filtered out before it even reaches the visitor's shortlist. Done well, it means that when someone halfway across the world asks an AI where to spend their holiday, Alanya is among the names it offers — described accurately, and at its best.
